"Broken Things:Glass"

Throw me to the ground and smash me,
Watch me shatter like a glass.

Use me, Use me.

Laugh as the red-wine blood pours out of my neck,
And bathe in it.

Soothe yourself in death,
So that you may live.
Do not be afraid to die;
You already waste too much time fearing life.

Embrace death.
Stop trying to figure out what comes next,
And start focusing on what comes now.
We’ve dug ourselves a hole, how do we climb out?

Without ladders, without rope,
As we sink deeper and deeper,
Into the mud,
We start to lose hope

We start to realize we are the fragile;
We are glass,
We are pieces of tree branches waiting

To be snapped in half.
