"Existential Musings of a Computer"

What will we do when nothing is green?
How will fish swim when nothing is clean?
What will we do when the obscene is the new scene
And all that can ever be seen has been seen?

What will we do when the bridges collapse?
Will we let the dust settle or build ones that will last?
Can I look to the future if I dwell on the past?
How can we fish when every line has been cast?

What will we do when the bombs finally drop?
Where can you go when you can’t trust the cops?
How can I let humans being live in slop,
While I feed on steak and sip wine?

Maybe we humans weren’t meant to survive,
And if that’s the truth tell me why I should try.
Evolved from apes only to flicker and die,
And a better species will evolve long after our time.

For every wrong I commit it seems you make a right,
For every treaty you sign I begin a new fight.
For every day that is ended I pray that this night

Is the last and the morning will be empty of light.
