It didn’t hurt until it was too late,
I felt no human sensations of pain.
Something like an earthquake:
Every bone is shaken,
You feel the fractures
Eroding your foundation.
A crack in every bone,
Twigs breaking in a storm,
You couldn’t see the calm that came before
Until the monsoon hit,
Tearing us all down,
I became that monsoon,
Ripping apart everything in sight,
Unknowingly, unconsciously
I destroyed.
And when I was conscious again,
I became the very rubble
That I had created.
But it didn’t hurt until it was too late,
And I felt no human sensations of pain.
And I felt no human sensations of pain.
